Women get their hands dirty with these environmental headshots

You're probably thinking these aren't your typical headshots. And you're absolutely right. Some would call these "environmental" portraits, meaning they showcase people in their workspace. In my opinion, these are some of the best kinds of photos you can get when it comes to showing off what you do.

Austin Woman Magazine decided to feature some of the toughest ladies in their October 2016 issue. When I got the call to photograph this editorial shoot, I couldn't wait.

In this issue, a series of women from every different type of job feature their professions. Everything from construction to building custom motorcycles, these headshots feature them all.

When I got the call to photograph this editorial shoot, I couldn't wait.

I always enjoy working with Austin Woman Magazine. Every time I go on-location for my next assignment, I meet some of the most amazing people. With photo shoots all over town, it gets me out of the studio and right where I want to be... behind the camera.

I always enjoy working with Austin Woman Magazine.

Thank you again to the wonderful women involved in this editorial. You did an amazing job.
